Cook up a great At the Wharf

The second At The Wharf was held on Friday night, October 26 on the Signal Point deck and lawns at Goolwa.

A good crowd was in attendance for the free event, which was one of a series conducted by Cittaslow Goolwa in the warmer months.

Features of the fun night included quality wines by Bleasdale and Shaw Family Wines, soft drinks and beer. Food included Cittaslow’s gourmet sausages, The Hungry Caterpillar’s marvellous Coorong Mullet Burgers and a new treat, Olaf and Vanessa’s steaming hot and freshly made Paella.

Another new innovation on Friday night was the band Spirit of Andalay, who provided a great background of blues and roots, and rock music.

The next At The Wharf is scheduled for Friday, November 30 from 5pm to 8pm.

This will see the return of a favourite band, Suzi and the Jetz. Patrons are welcome to bring chairs, tables and snacks if they wish but no BYO of alcohol under liquor licence provisions.
