He has been selected in the under 17 Regional Boys State team to compete in the 2018 Ultimate Fiji Soccer Cup from November 30 to December 10. Jayden was invited to attend camps at Wallaroo and Adelaide where from more than 100 aspiring youngsters, he was one of the final 16 selected.

“The camps were high in intensity with two hour training sessions each day under two coaches from the youth academy of the Arsenal Football Club in England,” he said.

Jayden is a goalkeeper, who has big goals of one day playing in the professional league.

“I am very happy to be selected, as this is a great opportunity. The games we play in Fiji will be two per day, so it will be awesome. We will have development coaches on hand, which will be good to learn off. We will actually have a specialist goalkeeping coach as well,” Jayden said.

Jayden is a Cheslea supporter in the English Premier League and did try AFL before finding his love for the World Game.

Jayden attends Investigator College and initially played for the Southern Breakers Soccer Club. The talented youngster continues to push himself to be better at the sport and next season will play for Hallett Cove.
