It’s that wonderful Christmas time of year again and it’s also the time when the South Coast Choral and Arts Society Choral Group present their much-anticipated annual Christmas Concert in the Victor Harbor Town Hall.

The program for the annual Christmas Celebrations Concert, as usual, will be superbly varied to guarantee broad appeal.

It will feature well known soloist Lyn Harris, plus talented singer Lilly Rhoda, who had the lead role in the recent Victor Harbor High School production of Annie.

There will also be performances by the ever-popular Victor Harbor City Band, who will once again enhance the festive spirit by their presence.

This year’s emcee will be Jon Greer, the conductor is Alan Field, and the accompanist Jenny Boag will be joined briefly in a duet with Anthea Butler.

The large choir is almost at full capacity, which guarantees a performance to exceed expectations.

There is only one performance of the concert this year, so organisers are encouraging members of the public to secure a seat early or run the risk of missing out.

The Christmas Celebrations Concert will be presented at the Victor Harbor Town Hall at 2pm on Sunday, December 2.

Admission for adults is $15 and students are $5.

Tickets can be purchased at Swan’s Pharmacy, 60 Victoria Street, Victor Harbor; from a choir member; or at the door if not sold out previously.
