Tiny Tails Rescue, in conjunction with Wet and Wild Petz Centre, will be holding Adoption Days on December 8 and December 29 from 10am till 2pm.

The kitten season has been a particularly busy one; Tiny Tails currently has 80 kittens in care and has had to close its books as all of our foster carers are caring for many kittens.

The group would love to see some find their homes in December so they can assist more kittens in need.

A number of the rescues in recent weeks have been urgent ones where the kittens have been in danger or had been abandoned and without food for a few days. This has meant that some of the tiny babies have been quite ill and required intensive care for some time.

All kittens up for adoption will be desexed, had their first vaccination and be microchipped before adoption. They also receive regular parasite treatment.

As Tiny Tails is a registered charity it relies heavily on donations and fundraising events to continue to provide the care these animals need.

Wet and Wild are hosting a Christmas tree for the group – any donations of food or kitty litter are gratefully accepted. Kitten food both wet and dry is most in need.

Tiny Tails thanked the members of the community who have donated in many ways during the year.
