Musical comedy The Songs of Countdown, with George Kapiniaris and Tottie Goldsmith, will visit the Normanville Hotel on December 14.
The show enlists the pair to share their involvement and memories of the iconic Australian television show, and the way music has shaped lives.
It is a “musical adventure down memory lane”, which goes from the early days of Disco to the New Wave sound of the 80s, and combines all the classic hits from the show with laugh-out-loud observations and takes on the era.
There are groovy costumes and plenty of chances to sing and dance through the night.
“As Countdown broadcast from 1974 to 1987, we believe this show will appeal to an under-catered market aged 50-65,” Stephanie Simmons from the Normanville Hotel said.
