Artisan Markets promoting locals

Saturday January 12 promises an arts avalanche in Victor Harbor as the Artisan Market takes a summer holiday to Warland Reserve to buddy up with the 40th Victor Harbor Rotary Art Show and totally immerse the reserve with all manner of creativity. Attendees will find creators and makers of wood, metal, glass, paper, canvas, upcycled, recycled, bespoke, and a whole lot more.

MC Dan Aubin, will host The Telstra Stage and present a stellar live and original music program sizzling with talent. Local artists Aden Quinn and the lovely Laura Hill will perform in the morning and well-loved Kylie Kain and new trio, Sound State in the afternoon.

Nigel Ford will steer the Sharkie Poetry Slam  just after noon and the multi talented Hamish McMillan will shift a gear down with his ArtScramble under the Pine trees.

Hamish said “as part of this markets live painting experience, I’d like to provide an open invitation to as many artists as possible to be part of an expansive Au Plein Air live painting experience.”

The very popular Vicki Sicheri returns to conduct her Japanese retro fabric Chiku Chiku workshop from 11am and Wendy Williams will as offer the Mandala Workshop to young and old plus TeePee Decorating in the KidzArtzone from 11am.

Food and art stall holders will provide a stellar array of regular favourites along with a  number of new great stalls showcasing creatives in the vibrant Victor community.
