Noarlunga defeated Encounter Bay

Noarlunga won the toss and chose to bat first. Noarlunga's openers Jason Scarff and Anthony Burgess started the game off well with a 52 run partnership. Noarlunga finished the first 20 over session with the score on 2/78.

After the drinks break, Encounter Bay was able to take regular wickets, ensuring Noarlunga never got away with the game scoring 147. Burgess was the best contributor for Noarlunga, but was out on 56. Bailey finished with the best figures for Encounter Bay with 3/32. Noarlunga started off defending their total well, picking up two wickets in the first 10 overs. Bay’s Lintern and Hoffmann then was able to put together a partnership for Encounter Bay. Noarlunga picked up Hoffmann's wicket for 31.

With 34 runs needed to be made off the last six overs, Lintern was out for 49. This led to a lower order collapse under the pressure of getting quick runs, but floundered finishing on 137, 10 runs short.

Willunga defeated Yankalilla

Willunga won the toss and elected to bat first. Farrell and Harding started positively. The Yankalilla bowling was no match for the opening pair. Farrell was first to bring up his half century and he hit the Yank bowlers to all parts of the ground. A blazing lofted cover drive brought up his maiden century for the Willunga Cricket Club.

Farrell was eventually dismissed for a brilliant 104. Harding continued his great form, bringing up his second half century of the season. The Demons total was 2/224 at the end of the 40 overs. Yank looked to start in a similar fashion to Willunga, but it was not to be. Early wickets fell and Jones strolled to the crease and  Willunga knew that this was the prized wicket and if they could claim him then they would win the match.

Jones looked dangerous as he was negating the spin of Roberts with ease. A lapse in concentration, Jones edged one and was taken sharply behind the stumps by Austin. The Yank innings finished at 8/174 - Fisher the most outstanding batsmen who put together a great innings of 62 not out.

Goolwa defeated Port Elliot

Round 10 saw home side Goolwa take on Port Elliot. Elliot won the toss and chose to bat. Goolwa struck early with Jayden Crees snicking up Dodd for 8 and then Whitbourne for 4. Gordge and Arbon were able to steady the ship. After a 70 run partnership Gordge was finally dismissed for a very well made 34 and Elliot 3/84.

Late swinging from Consalvo gave the away side a very respectable 9/143. Crees the star taking 5/15.  Goolwa also had a rocky start as Ben Martin claimed both openers for 0. It was up to F Nissen and skipper Robertson in a match winning 77 run partnership to get the job done.

Nissen removed for a classy 32 and Robertson the pick of the batsmen with 73 not out.
