A Badge Day fundraiser was recently held in January and was well supported by branch members and the local community. President Christine Sweetman said the branch wished to thank all those who continue to support their work.

Plans for the groups ‘Fashion Parade’  fundraiser were also finalised. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 13, at the CWA Hall, Crozier Road, starting at 10 am. Morning tea will be provided. Fashions will be by Dressed for Success and the cost will be $5 per person.

In other news, President Christine Sweetman and member Margaret Kneebone recently attended a morning tea at Government House in Adelaide on January 31. This was hosted by wife of Governor Hieu Van Le, Mrs Lan Le, in appreciation of the work Red Cross does in local communities around SA.
