Unity College invites interested families from the Murraylands to attend the first Unity Tour for 2019.
The tours will be held on Wednesday, March 13 at 10am and 7pm, commencing from the middle/senior campus administration building.
The tours will be a great way for interested families and future students to learn about how the school puts their students first and the 2020 Middle/Senior Academic Scholarships.
The college had some outstanding results in 2018 with seven students receiving an ATAR over 90 and 69.2 per cent of all grades A's and B's.
The dux of the school for 2018 was Madison Fielke, who received an ATAR of 98.15.
Madison also received a merit for her research project and was presented with her merit award during a ceremony at Government House in February.
Jarrod Matulick was runner-up dux for the year receiving an ATAR of 97.10.
Other fantastic results for the class of 2018 included:
- 2018 Year 12 students achieved 100 per cent SACE completion – well above the state average
- Around 45 per cent of students eligible for an ATAR achieved a score over 80
- 27 students gained a complete Certificate III qualification
- 5 students completed a School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship
All students at Unity College are given opportunities to to develop as leaders within their year level, school and community.
The students have also shown outstanding leadership qualities and many have been awarded student leader positions for 2019.

The 2019 student leadership teams include Student Leaders (Year 11 and 12), Middle/Senior SRC, House Captains, Year 9 Ambassadors, Year 5 Ambassadors and SRC.
Students participated in a leadership training day on Thursday, February 28, which focused on servant leadership and the skills required to be an effective leader.
