Not many art exhibits allow dog visitors, but one at Port Elliot not only welcomes them, but encourages them to create art to display.
The Dogs Day Out on the Fleurieu is in its fifth year, and the art show makes up part of the fun.
Art can include paintings, drawings, photographs, cartoons, 3D art, pottery, sewing, and art by dogs.
Entries close on Friday, March 8. All types of art entries are accepted.
Previous art shows attracted over 100 dog-themed art pieces made by people of all ages, some very quirky and some more traditional.
The photo of art show coordinator Ruth Miller demonstrates a range of examples – let your imagination run wild.
The art show is part of the Dogs Day Out on the Fleurieu 2019 event, held Sunday, March 17 from 10am to 2pm at Lakala Reserve, Port Elliot.
Entry is $5 per person for up to 5 entries, with free entry for children under 13 years.
Entry forms are available from the Port Elliot Pharmacy or www.portelliot.org.au
