The final round of the Women’s RAA Super Pairs was held over the past week with several pairs vying to be the season’s overall winners at the Port Elliot Bowling Club. March’s first Game Winners were Anthea Faull and Annette Speed (Victor Harbor). Second Game was tied with Eileen Love/Sandra Monk sharing the win with Lynne Trenerry/Kaye Cammack.
March Overall winners were Vicky Roberts/Mary Jarvis (Encounter Bay). Season’s winners with the top accumulative scores were 1st - Goolwa’s Barbara Reed/Jody Kraguljac. Second were Victor Harbor’s Ebba Ness/Avril Neill and third were Helen Taylor/Lyn Mole (Port Elliot).
With the Thursday Pennants season being completed, Thursday players spent the morning reviewing the season and giving everyone the opportunity to express views on how the teams performed and how could they do better. The morning was completed with a birthday morning tea to celebrate a big birthday for loved and well respected member, Joy Caldicott.
Tuesday Night Owls was abandoned due to rain. Consequently there will be an additional game in March.
Three Port Elliot Bowling Club sides are in the Association Qualifying Finals which will be held on Saturday, March 16 commencing at 12.30pm. Division 3 will play Myponga at Goolwa. Division 5 Black and Div 5 Red will play each other at Port Elliot. It would be good to have a strong band of supporters there to encourage these teams.
Come along to watch the Alexandrina Council sponsored Senior Super Series to be played at Port Elliot on Tuesday, April 16.

Open Social Game will be held on Saturday, April 6 - Mufti. It does not stop there for the Port Elliot Bowling Club as there will be a Members Interclub Game against Reynella at the Port Elliot Bowling Club on Sunday, April 7- Uniform.
The Easter Carnival will also be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21 -Mufti. The Anzac Day social game will be held on April 25. For information about games at the Port Elliot Bowling Club please contact 8554 2317.
Myponga Bowling Club - On Monday, March 11, it was a very successful fours day held at the Myponga Bowling Club playing for the Heatherdale Shield, which was started by Mr Les Bennett in 1981. The Bennett Family was represented by his son Edward, who presented the Shield to the winning rink from Victor Harbor. Winning players were: Skip: Kevin Hoppo: 3rd: Gary Hancock: 2nd: Craig Jacobs: Lead: Royce Munn. Sponsors for the day were Northpoint Fleurieu Victor Harbor.
