Inman Quilters are ready to open the doors on their seventh biannual Quilt Exhibition being held across Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the weekend of April 13 at the Inman Valley Memorial Hall.
Admission is $3 per adult and children are free and refreshments will be available from the Quilters Kitchen throughout the Exhibition.
This year, two beautiful queen size quilts will be up for grabs as the first and second prizes of the events main raffle, with all proceeds going to charity.
The charity of choice for this year is the Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation which offers a range of services including transporting cancer patients to hospitals and clinics in Adelaide for treatment and consultation. The group is completely self-funded and is reliant on donations from the community.
In addition to their main exhibition, the group will be presenting a bonus display at the Uniting Church, just down the road. This display showcases “Gifting Quilts over the Decade” – a written and pictorial display on quilts the group has “gifted” and donated over the years. Part of this display will also include a selection of quilts that are ready to be gifted to the community.
The event runs between 9:30am and 4:30pm on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April and between 9:30am and 2:00pm on Monday April 15.
