The regions of Yankalilla, Goolwa and Victor Harbor benefited from federal government grants

The Fleurieu Peninsula has scored funding from the federal government for important infrastructure projects. 

The Deputy Prime Minister, Michael McCormack, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development, announced the projects to be funded under Round Three of the Building Better Regions Fund.

The Rotary Club of Victor Harbor received $34,905 for the Kings Beach Viewing Deck and its revegetation and historical signage. The total project cost is $69,905.

The District Council of Yankalilla received $8000 for Growing the Festival of Nature. Project cost is $16,500.

The Alexandrina Council was also a winner receiving $25,000 for Ngoppen Ngarrindjeri Ruwe 'Walking Ngarrindjeri Land' at Goolwa Wharf. The project cost is $50,000.

The City of Victor Harbor received a boost for its Fleurieu Cruise Ship and Boating Tourism Planning Study with a grant of $20,000. The project cost is $20,000.
