Performance raises funds for hospital

The South Coast District Hospital (SCDH) will benefit from funds raised by the SCDH Auxiliary at a night of music and dancing at the Roos Club, the Victor Harbor Football/RSL Club. 

The music provided by Adelaide group The 60 Four, a talented group of four university students playing music from the 60s and 70s. Auxiliary members donated supper platters, 60s style, and selling 200 tickets to guests from near and far.

On Saturday, April 13, the Fleurieu Social Ballroom Dancing group is holding a 'Dance 4 Fun' event, open for beginners to early intermediate-level dancers.

The night will run from 7.30pm to 10.30pm at the Lutheran Church Hall in Victor Harbor. Tickets are $10. Dress code is neat casual. Contact Heather on 0431 828 871.

On Friday, April 12, youTHRIVE 2019 showcases young performers at Strathalbyn Oval. Aimed at people aged 12 to 25 years, it is a concert held as part of SA Youth Week and will be headlined by Something to Rescue. It is a family-friendly event. Free entry, 5pm to 10pm. Contact 8555 7000.
