Fun, food and frivolity was the order of the day at the community centre at Chiton Retirement living complex on Friday, April 12, as a packed house watched the 'Two Michaels', Michael Keelan and Michael Angelakis cook up a seafood feast.

The hosts of the popular television program Out of the Blue entertained the crowd with their knowledge and passion for seafood and even added some handy cooking tips into the mix.

Michael Angelakis, who has been involved in the seafood industry most of his life, said he was proud to promote South Australian seafood products.

"We love to use local fresh produce and this region offers so much choice with a very high quality product. It is one of our favourite areas and one that we always enjoy promoting," he said.

Michael Keelan, host of 5AA's weekend lifestyle and garden show even had a few garden tips for the captured audience.

"There can be nothing nicer than eating local seafood and it's great to grow your own fruit, vegetables and herbs to complement the tasty produce from our ocean," he said.

After the masterclass presentation, guests were shown around the national award winning village and then treated to a seafood luncheon of local crayfish.

Sally Middleton spokesperson for Key Invest who were the conveners of the event said they were pleased to be able to have such high profile personalities to host the day and the response had been amazing.

"We thank the 'Two Michaels' for their professional performance it was such fun to have them here," she said.
