Under 13s: Adelaide University Under 13 JSL B side travelled to Southern Breakers' home ground, Breaker Park in Port Elliot to take on the Breakers on Sunday, May 12. The morning was bright and the still conditions were perfect for a soccer match.

Tay Parker was in stellar form, managing to hit the back of the net no less than three times in the game. He was ably assisted by Charlie Humphris and Jake Ashcroft, who both scored a goal in the second half of the match.

The defence was impressive, ensuring that the ball was returned from the defensive end numerous times and keeping Adelaide University to only one goal, scored early in the second half. The midfielders continued to deliver the soccer ball back to the attacking end, even as the players tired towards the end of the match.

Special thanks to all of the Mums who came out to cheer the team on. The teams appreciation was shown with a small gift for them and they even had the day off canteen duty. Happy Mothers' Day!

The Southern Breakers under 13s side have now moved to fourth on the ladder.

Their next match is scheduled for 2nd June, against the Plympton Bulldogs, once again at the home ground. Go Breakers!

Under 15s: The Breakers hosted bottom placed Tea Tree Gully on Sunday and won the match comfortably 5-0.

The Breakers were red hot from the start scoring three goals in the first fifteen minutes. Brunt with the opener after some great teamwork, then Loizi after a good solo run. The third was a nice goal from a tight angle from McDonald.

The Breakers then took the foot off the pedal slightly but held strong giving Gully little chance of scoring before half time.

Early in the second half McDonald had his second after awesome midfield play from O'Donnell, Brunt and Golding.

Beaton rounded out a great win with a well taken free kick from close range.

Next week Breakers play Noarlunga United away in the second round of the cup.
