Police are urging anyone with information about an assault near Port Elliot Primary School earlier this month to come forward.
A man was finishing work at the school on Cameron Street when two people who arrived in a car approached him about 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 7.
The two suspects assaulted the man, and he received a serious head wound.
A family member found the man in the school car park and he was taken to the South Coast District Hospital for treatment.
