A Goolwa man has died from his injuries after his car left the road and hit a tree near Finniss on Sunday afternoon, May 26.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Finniss to Milang Road just before 4pm.
The 82-year-old Goolwa man, who was the sole occupant of the car, was flown to Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition.
Hills Fleurieu police blocked the road for several hours as Major Crash investigators attended the scene.
Sadly, the man passed away on Thursday, May 30.
His death takes the state's road toll to 52, compared to 33 at the same time in 2018.
