With winter almost upon us, Forktree is evolving with the seasons.
Our new fireplace has been installed and it is pumping out the heat with the newly insulated roof keeping that heat where it needs to be.
Even though it's getting colder outside, it sure is warm and cosy in the shed on top of the hill.
Our Thursday night curry nights have been very well received, with visitors enjoying everything from the mild rogan josh through to the spicy pineapple and pork dish and everything in between.
The kitchen team have also been producing some magical specials to warm the cockles.
The glazed ribs have been particularly popular along with a variety of delicious seafood dishes, including the laksa and salmon rosti, which have been a fan favourite.
Keep your eyes on social media to stay updated about our specials and beers on offer - remember to get in quick because we often sell out.
On the beer front, we're working toward releasing our fourth beer to round out our core range.

Without giving too much away, it's going to be a dark beer along the lines of a robust porter. We can't wait to get it on tap and in the glass.
We also have a very limited amount of the Cherry Wheat beer, a collaboration brew that we did with our mates at the Smiling Samoyed and Fleurieu Cherries.
There's also some very exciting developments in the brewery section of the facility (think shiny stainless steel) coming in the not too distant future.
With winter also comes footy season and this year Forktree have sponsored the Yankalilla Tigers juniors football club. The bright yellow logo on the back of the kids kits looks absolutely brilliant. Forktree has a strong focus on the local community and getting on board with local sporting and social clubs gives us a lot of pride.
