Body pulled from water at Port Elliot

SA Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding a death at Port Elliot on Friday morning, June 7.

Emergency services were called to the scene at a secluded bay east of Horseshoe Bay just before 9.30am after members of the public found a body on the beach.

Police pulled body from the water, but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crime Investigation Branch detectives are examining the circumstances surrounding the death, but at this stage it does not appear to be suspicious.

There will be a report prepared by police for the Coroner.
