Sound of music concert rings true

Encounter Lutheran College presented its production of the much loved classic, The Sound Of Music, at four sold out performances last week at the Victor Harbor Town Hall. The students (and Year 1 teacher Josh Koop who played Captain Von Trapp) shone as they took their audiences on a musical journey with authentic costumes, backdrops and props.

One audience member Wendy Hodgson travelled from Adelaide to watch the show and wrote to the College singing her praises of the production. "Saturday I attended the matinee performance of " The Sound of Music," and what a wonderful show it was! I soon forgot the performers were school children," she said.

"Everything about the production, including all the behind the scenes work, the orchestra, set designs, lighting, stage just flowed and you could feel the pleasure from the audience."
