Six overnight break-ins on Hindmarsh Island over the weekend

Hills Fleurieu police are requesting public assistance and information following a series of six break-ins which occurred on Hindmarsh Island on Friday night.

Between 10.30pm Friday, June 14 and 6am Saturday, June 15, numerous houses in Blanche Parade and Prince Alfred Parade were broken into.

Some of the stolen items included cash, bank cards, car keys, and electronic items such as phones and tablets.

Police are urging members of the public to ensure all doors and windows are locked overnight, and to not leave valuables in obvious places.
