If you're considering welcoming a furry friend to the fold, Tiny Tails Rescue invites you to attend their adoption day this Saturday, June 29.

Tiny Tails Rescue is holding the adoption day at Wet and Wild Petz Centre in Victor Harbor on Saturday, June 29 from 10am to 2pm.

The kitten season will soon be here, when the demand for rescue services will increase significantly, so the group wants to find homes for the cats they already have in their care.

Recently Tiny Tails Rescue undertook a project to assist a colony of feral cats and kittens. Some of these kittens are now fully rehabilitated and ready for adoption.

One of these kittens has already been adopted in Victor Harbor.

These kittens are now about six months old - Mr Tickles, pictured, is one of them. They are very cuddly, friendly and happy little cats.

The group would like to acknowledge and thank the Encounter Bay Rotary Club for their generous grant which has been dedicated to the care of this colony of animals.

The adults have been desexed and returned to the property where they lived and are being cared for by the property owner. The kittens are now looking for safe homes.

If Tiny Tails had not undertaken this project, these kittens would have been feral and continuing to breed, and so adding to the feral cat problem.

All cats and kittens are desexed and microchipped, and have had their first vaccination at the time of adoption. They also receive regular parasite treatment while in foster care. In many cases the kittens have also had their second vaccination.

If you are thinking of adding to your fur family, check out the cats and kittens looking for new homes at the adoption day.
