Victor Harbor Boxing Club athlete Will Niemann has stepped into the ring for his first professional fight representing the club and has emerged victorious.

On Saturday, July 6, at Dwyers Boxing Club in Mount Gambier, an interstate competition between SA and Victoria was held with Will representing the Victor Harbor Boxing Club.

From the moment Will stepped into the ring he fought hard and with each round gained confidence. Following a terrific display of boxing prowess from both Will and his competitor, Will was announced the winner at the end of the third and final round.

With a win behind him, Will is now excited to compete again and plans to do so at an upcoming competition in Adelaide.

The competition which will be held in early August, will also feature fellow Victor Harbor Boxing Club athletes Laura Wright and Fred Zziwa.
