Struggling to decide between the joys of golf and soccer? These school holidays the Willunga Golf Course is once again offering FootGolf for locals and tourists alike.

Originating in Europe in 2006, FootGolf is exactly how it sounds, set along a golf course, players - each with their own soccer ball, 'tee-off' along on a six-hole-course, each trying to get the ball to the hole with the lowest number of kicks.

The FootGolf course at the Willunga Golf Course has been specially designed for FootGolf and features sand bunkers, roughs, green gradients, trees and water hazards.

Even the City of Onkaparinga Mayor Erin Thompson is excited for FootGolfs return to Willunga, saying it is exciting to host another FootGolf-filled school holiday program, offering the public - young and old - the chance to spend the afternoon having fun and being active with friends and family.

"No experience in soccer or golf is needed, and having a kick around our beautiful course can be quite addictive - just make sure to look out for those sand bunkers!"

FootGolf at Willunga Golf Course is available to the public from 7-21 July during the school holidays (excluding Saturdays) from 2.30pm to 5pm. Cost is $5 per player. All ages are welcome; children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
