A project developed to help emerging leaders build their skills and networks is ready to take candidates for its next program.

Aimed at helping women in agribusiness, the Stepping into Leadership course looks at values in areas such as identifying core values, developing personal and leadership values and understanding skills and strength.

The program, which starts in September and goes through to June 2020, is designed to increase the number of women in leadership positions in the agribusiness sector. Participants will be able to receive one-on-one mentoring and coaching sessions and have the chance to attend teleconferences and workshops.

Funding for the course is being provided by Primary Industries and Regions SA as part of its Advancing Women in Agribusiness and Regions strategy.

Expressions of interest are due by July 19, 2019.
