Founded 10 years ago, Harris Real Estate is an award-winning company that now brings its experience and expertise to the Fleurieu region.
Adele Newton and Kim Steele are the friendly, local property consultants who are ready to help with all your real estate needs.
Harris Real Estate is the largest independent real estate agency in South Australia, with five office locations.
One of the many good reasons to deal with the Fleurieu Harris Real Estate team is that, quite simply, they love what they do.
"With our unique, contemporary style and total passion for connecting people with property, we aspire to provide the ultimate real estate experience," Adele said.
"We are firm believers that if we can get the strategy correct from day one of selling your property, then we will provide an easy, stress-free experience."
Whether it is your first home, a large family home or your ultimate retirement residence, real estate is a big investment and, as such, it is important to seek professional advice.
"Too many people are under the impression that nothing ever sells down on the coast, or it will take 12 months to achieve an offer," Adele said.
"A consultation with us will provide you with advice on how to sell your home.
"We do not simply stick a sign out the front and hope for the best. Time, care and a well-thought-out marketing plan will help you sell your home with ease."
Adele specialises in the Encounter Bay and Victor Harbor areas so do not hesitate to call her if you are looking to buy or sell there. Having moved to Encounter Bay with her family in January, she is now achieving her vision of selling in the beautiful region in which she lives.
"I live here, my three children attend Investigator College and I am an ambassador for the community," she said.
"The majority of my buyers are not local and they want to hear how they, too, can have a fabulous life living on the coast."
Encouraged by Adele, Kim recently joined Harris Real Estate to focus on working the South Coast and, in particular, the Goolwa, Middleton and Port Elliot areas, and together they service all areas in between.
"It's great having the support of another sales consultant down here," Kim said.
"Also, being part of a large, local SA brand with a shared database of buyers, we all support each other and share buyer requirements to help vendors sell more quickly and buyers to find their dream home. I offer styling advice, also, as most homeowners do not know where to start." Extensive knowledge of the holiday home market is another factor that sets Kim apart from many others in the industry.
"I have 10 years' experience in holiday rental management so I can assist holiday home owners to sell their homes while keeping them rented out to holidaymakers," she said.
"I understand all there is to know about how holiday rentals work down on the South Coast and can help buyers with this valuable information when they are making decisions based around rental income."
Like Adele and many others who have discovered the what a wonderful part of the world it is, Kim also enjoys many aspects of living and working in the region.
"I love the relaxed vibe, the country friendliness and the beach," she said.
"My husband is a surfer and I love to hike (especially around Waitpinga), ride my bike along the track and boogie board at Basham's Beach. We will also be involved at the local Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club this summer."
