Sing Australia Goolwa will celebrate 10 years of singing with a community concert on Saturday, October 5.
The concert will begin at 1pm at Signal Point Gallery by Goolwa Wharf, with doors at 12.30pm.
Joy Reilly has been a member of Sing Australia Goolwa for eight months and enjoys the social aspect of the group.
"It's about getting people together that can sing and people that can't sing... the companionship and camaraderie of getting together," Ms Reilly said.
"It lightens everybody's mood."
Ms Reilly said the group will perform lighthearted songs, accompanied by Glenelg pianist Emma Knights.
"They're songs that people would know, that people can sing along with... Sweet Caroline will certainly be one," she said.
Some members will also play the ukulele during the concert.
A number of the singers have been with the group for 10 years and will be awarded with certificates on the day, including conductor Liz Bettess.
Concert tickets will be $5 at the door and include afternoon tea.
The group welcomes new members, with practices on Monday nights 7pm to 9pm at Thornbury Park, Goolwa.
"We're always looking for new members... come along and join the group, the happy band," Ms Reilly said.
The group will also be performing at Goolwa Shopping Centre on Saturday, September 21 between 10.30am and 11.30am.
