Fleurieu Folk Festival has announced multi-award-winning country singer Felicity Urquhart is the headline act for this year's festival, which runs from October 25 to 27.
Urquhart leads the lineup for South Australia's premier folk music festival along with other headline line acts The Ballpoint Penguins, The Royal High Jinx, Khristian Mizzi, Saoirse, and The Round Mountain Girls.
This year's local and interstate lineup will also include Daniel J. Townsend, Firinn, Junior, Paula Standing, Pete Titchener, Steve Lennox, The Grubby Urchins, The Humbuckin' Pickups and dozens more.
In addition to traditional folk music, this year will include ten Celtic acts, seven country and Americana acts, as well as blues, jazz, indie and world music.
There will be a feature concert of music and spoken word, featuring some of Adelaide's finest women singers, songwriters and poets, as part of the 125th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage.
Punters can put on their own performances with an open mic session at Cafe Acoustica, join a session in the cider tent or read their poetry at a poetry forum.

Porchland lineup is revealed
The annual "festival of nice times", Porchland, has revealed the lineup set to perform at The Range Memorial Hall grounds later this year.
Fifteen artists, led by Babe Rainbow, will play across two stages on Saturday, November 23, including a strong local contingent and numerous interstaters covering a range of genres.
The music is not the only focus; a collaboration between Porchland and SA food business Gang Gang has resulted in Bunchland, which gives ticket holders early access to the festival to "tuck into a delicious long table lunch". More than 15 different food plates and bottomless bloody marys will be served in a secluded corner of the festival site.
Lululemon is once again offering yoga sessions, and the Market Bazaar will return in 2019, giving SA makers and producers the chance to showcase their wares.
