Victor Harbor Regional Gallery is set to launch a new exhibition, titled 'The Block', aimed to encourage first time buyers and art lovers alike, to take home affordable, yet stunning works.

Pieces to suit all budgets will be available and those usually priced out of thousand dollar pieces will have the opportunity to scoop up a bargain.

The Block will be running for all of November and the clue is in the name - works will consist of small paintings on small blocks of wood, priced accordingly.

These block works of art will make ideal presents without costing the proverbial arm or a leg.

Instead of thousands of dollars for a piece of art, punters will be able to acquire miniatures from the same artists for a fraction of what they usually charge.

Not only will the block images created by leading South Coast artists make great gifts, but they could fill that blank space on a wall in your home.

To see for yourself, get down to The Block at the Victor Harbor Regional Gallery, 7 Railway Terrace (opposite the Rail Station) between 11am and 4pm throughout November.
