SA Music Hall of Fame inductees GANGgajang at Encounter Bay

Upcoming AMC SA Music Hall of Fame inductees GANGgajang is heading to the Beach House Cafe to play on Thursday, November 14.

GANGgajang emerged in 1984 after members of bands from the 60s and 70s like Pegasus, Fahrenheit 451, Fat Angel, Bullet at The Scene, Snoopy Hollow, Captain Thunder and Ova got together.

Although GANGgajang's members have also been in, recorded with and/or toured with acts such as The Angels, The Riptides, Yothu Yindi, The Aliens, Jimmy Barnes, Absent Friends, The Rockmelons, Peter Blakeley, Wendy Matthews, Jimmy Little, Australian Crawl and Mondo Rock, it's the time before South Australian born inductees Buzz, Geoffrey, Robbie and Chris headed east that is the focus of GANGgajang's trip to South Australia.

The band has toured extensively around Australia and three tours of Brazil releasing music in every decade since the band began.

The members' dedication to their craft and South Australian music is being recognised by the induction on Friday, November 15 - the day after their show at Encounter Bay.

Doors open at 7pm - call 8552 4417 to book tickets.
