Saturday, November 23 saw some 65 hungry men enjoy a satisfying breakfast at Adare Uniting Church, along with a "My Story" talk from Ernest Sorenson.
Some men must have been extremely hungry, for they arrived at 6.45am although official start time was 7.15am.
There was no need for them to have worried about missing out, as there was plenty of food for all present.
Having enjoyed cereal and fruit, the men were served a hot breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns all cooked on the barbecue by an able group of Adare men.
Following a time of worship including some hearty singing, Rev Ernest Sorensen shared some of his life's journeys and experiences.
Enjoying the outdoors, Ernie's adventures were mainly of the active outdoor nature.
He treasures time spent with his father and uncle and as times have changed, he now enjoys experiences with his own boys.
Men's Breakfast coordinator Graeme Schwarz thanked Ernest and all who helped with the morning, especially his Church Home Group - the men who had cooked and the ladies who worked in the kitchen.
Over $400 was raised to go to the South Coast Christian Community Care.
