Sculpture Encounters - Granite Island curator David Handley will host a tour around Granite Island

On Friday, December 6, at 9.30am members of the public are welcome to join a free artist talk hosted by artists and the Curator of 'Sculpture Encounters - Granite Island' David Handley.

Mr Handley is also the Founding Director of Sculpture by the Sea in Sydney and Perth. If interested meet on Granite Island at the end of the causeway. The tour will take approximately 90 minutes.

Minister for the Environment and Water David Spiers visited Granite Island on Saturday, November 30 and walked around the sculptures with two local artists Margaret Worth and Hamish McMillan and City of Victor Harbor Mayor Moira Jenkins, councillor Andrew Robertson and CEO Victoria MacKirdy.

Five new sculptures are being added to the collection including artworks by South Australian artists Deborah Sleeman and Hamish McMillan.
