The Rotary Club of Victor Harbor had more than 20 of its members take part in Movember and so far have raised more than $1400 and the total is climbing.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health and raising awareness.

The women in the club stayed involved by wearing the same coloured lipstick for the month of November.

"As a club it was bonding for us to take part and we all had plenty of banter going around. A lot of our partners a pretty happy the month is over so we can shave it off," Rotary Club of Victor Harbor president Marty Alsford said.

However, in every group there is always one rebel and at the Rotary Club of Victor Harbor it was Anthony Lang (Cookie).

Cookie did Movember in reverse by removing his facial hair in stages throughout the month.

"I have had facial hair for more that 25 years and really proud to have raised $400 for Men's health," Cookie said.
