After a wonderful 2019 which included bus trips to beautiful gardens, fantastic speakers from a diverse range of areas, winning members at the Port Elliot show and lovely lunches, the Garden Club also said goodbye to members who moved, or sadly passed away.

The group's shared love of gardening has been brought to the fore lately while witnessing the current devastation of bushfires throughout Australia.

"To those that have lost lives, homes, animals and property our hearts go out to you," said a group spokesperson.

"We hope to see some new faces as we start the new year on January 27. It is the holiday Monday but we hope to see as many old and new faces as possible."

Floral Art will begin at 12 noon and Susan will lead a class on how to design wonderful displays. The Garden Club will start at 2pm with members sharing updates on their gardening activities over the last two months.

"Please join us in this new year and let's make it brighter and better," said the spokesperson.
