Fleurieu man faces court on a number of child sex offences

A 36 year-old man from the Fleurieu Peninsula has faced court in relation to a string of child sex offences.

The man was arrested on Tuesday January 14, by detectives from the Public Protection Branch, Special Crimes Investigation Section, for alleged persistent sexual exploitation of a child, compel sexual manipulation of a child, unlawful sexual intercourse and breach of bail. He is due to reappear in court on February 21, for a bail application.

He faced Christies Beach Magistrates Court later that day, where he was remanded in custody.
