Business Victor Harbor has a new chair and deputy chair after six years of being well served by Nick Gormley in the top job
Michael Schubert of Shed Boss is the incoming chair and Taryn Richardson is the deputy chair.
Mr Schubert said his real desire was to bring people together such as the business community, council and other stakeholders.
"I have been a member of Business Victor Harbor for four years and I plan to bring energy and honesty to the position," Mr Schubert said.
"I am proud of Victor Harbor and it is a great place to do business. We must work together and spread the word that Victor Harbor is open for business."
Ms Richardson is the owner/operator at JaDS and hopes becoming deputy chair would encourage more women to become involved in Business Victor Harbor.
"There are many great women in our community and we need them to join us. I will give honest opinion and I already have a strong relationship with council," Ms Richardson said.
"I have lived in Victor Harbor all my life and have great connections and look forward to playing a role in boosting growth in the city."
Mr Schubert and Ms Richardson both congratulated Nick Gormley for being a visionary chair for the past six years.
"Nick has built a solid foundation for the future of business in Victor Harbor,' Mr Schubert said.
