Zest Theatre Group is proud to be presenting Heathers, a production the group has described as "not for the faint-hearted".
Mother and daughter directors Terry Mountstephen and Peta Bowey promise to take the audience on an emotional rollercoaster.
"Zest is ready to do Heathers, I'm just not sure Victor is ready for Heathers," Terry said.
The show contains coarse language and sexual references and deals with issues like suicide, bullying and murder.
Based on the 1989 film, this musical takes an unflinching look at the joy and anguish of high school. Westerberg High is ruled by the three Heathers. Veronica Sawyer hustles her way into the teenage power trifecta and discovers being popular isn't all that it seems.
All changes when a stranger, JD, plans to put the Heathers in their place - six feet under.
There will be six performances at the Victor Harbor Town Hall: on Friday, January 31, Saturday, February 1, Friday, February 7, Saturday, February 8 at 7.30pm, and on Sunday, February 2 and Sunday, February 9 at 2pm. Tickets are available from the RAA in Ocean Street or online at trybooking.com
The Times has three double passes to give away to the opening night (January 31).
