Cittaslow Goolwa is one of the countless community groups helping people on Kangaroo Island, having donated $2000 to the Kangaroo Island Mayor's Fund in support of bushfire relief.
In addition, proceeds from the next Cittaslow Goolwa 'At the Wharf' event will on January 31 will also go towards bushfire relief.
At the Wharf is hosted on the deck and lawns of Signal Point Goolwa between 5pm and 8pm, and this time around popular local band the River Rats will provide the music.
There will be plenty of food and drinks from local producers and vendors available.
In addition, At the Wharf will feature a silent auction and raffle to raise much-needed funds for the fire affected community and wildlife of Kangaroo Island.
Goolwa artists, crafts people and businesses have generously donated fabulous prizes for the event.
There is no charge to attend At the Wharf and patrons can bring their own food if they wish, however, BYO alcohol is not permitted.
At the Wharf is usually conducted on the last Friday of the month during summer months from 5pm to 8pm and is a chance to showcase local produce while the community comes together to enjoy each other's company.
