A man has died following a crash at Maslin Beach.
Just after 8.30 am on Monday, February 17, patrols and paramedics were called to Gulf Parade after a Holden sedan collided with a stobie pole.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the driver and sole occupant, a 72-year-old from Hawthorndene, sadly died at the scene.
Gulf Parade was closed with diversions at Seaview Street and Vernon Crescent while crews from SA Power Networks replace the stobie pole.
Major Crash Officers are investigating whether a medical episode contributed to the crash. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
There has now been 15 lives lost on our roads which is the same number for this time last year.
