The Fleurieu Art Show (dog-themed) is on again in March and entries are now open for both human and canine artists.

Held on Sunday, March 15 from 10am to 2pm, the quirky art show is part of the annual Dogs Day Out Port Elliot event at Lakala Reserve, Port Elliot.

Art entries of any size, shape and medium are welcome, as long as they are dog-theme or art created by a dog.

The categories this year include group art, 3D, photo, drawing, art by dog, and painting, and entries close on Friday, March 6. Entry for children aged 12 and under is free, and open age is $5 for up to five entries.

Dogs Day Out coordinator Ruth Miller said there would be some special art awards up for grabs.

"The previous five events have had some stunning artwork and it is a great event to be a part of," she said.

RSB Guide Dogs' Puppy Education Program is the beneficiary of the event.

Art entry forms can be found at the Port Elliot Pharmacy or at www.portelliot.org.au.
