Witches britches, hot pants, minis skirts, midis, stove pipe trousers, ponchos and pillbox hats are just a few of the exciting fashion trends of the 60s to be featured in a spectacular fashion and music extravaganza to be held on 'Leap Day' Saturday February 29 at 7pm at the McCracken Country Club.
Aptly titled "Leap Back in Time", the event will be hosted by the ZONTA Club of Fleurieu Peninsula with fashions and music supplied and coordinated by Chrissie Wright.
Emcee for the evening will be well known and talented entertainer Allan Edmondson-Stott.
It will be a real step back in time as local models strut their 60's fashion trends on the catwalk all to the tunes of popular singers of that era.
There'll be a 60s style supper and a complimentary drink on arrival with full bar facilities available on the night and monies raised during the evening will support Zonta projects and Junction.
A silent auction will be held during the evening along with a raffle with proceeds from the raffle going to those affected by bushfires.
So get involved, have some fun and get into the swing of the sixties this February.
