A fire which started on Wednesday afternoon, February 19 has burnt 24.5 hectares of farm land and scrub.
Country Fire Service (CFS) crews were called to the fire, near Fishery Beach Road and Main South Road Cape Jervis, at 2.55pm.
At the peak of the fire, 12 firetrucks and two bulk water carriers were on site, with two water bombers making five aerial drops.
Crew remained on scene on Thursday to mop up ahead of the warmer weather experienced over the weekend and start of the following week.
A cause is yet to be determined but CFS believes it is not suspicious.
There was no threat to homes, but there were homes in the general vicinity of the fire.
