Tiny Tails Rescue on Fleurieu Peninsula at full capacity, looks for homes for cats and kittens

Tiny Tails Rescue has made the decision to cancel adoption days until further notice to protect the health and well being of volunteers and supporters - but the group is still at full capacity.

Several kittens are ready for adoption and the group is urging locals to consider adoption if looking to add to their fur family.

Many of the kittens are located on the south coast including Amari and Aroon, pictured.

Volunteers from the group are happy to arrange a private viewing of the kittens for anyone keen to provide a loving home.

In addition to having to cancel adoption days, Tiny Tails Rescue has had to postpone all fundraising activities that make continued rescues possible, which has resulted in the fostering becoming difficult.

Foster carers pay for food and litter for the kittens in their care.

The volunteers are committed to continuing their work, and ask anyone able to make a donation to do so.

Any donations received will be used to purchase these items to help take the strain off carers.

If you prefer to donate food, contact the group so they can let you know what food is best for the kittens.

The Wine and Book Sale scheduled for Easter Saturday at Encounter Bay has been cancelled at this stage, however preparations were well advanced so the wine and many books are in stock. Contact the group if you are interested.
