The Victor Harbor Art Society recently held its Annual General Meeting at the Coral Street Art Space, with a new committee being elected. The highlights of 2019 were discussed and presentations to retiring members were also made.
The packed house of VHAS members were happily entertained by the BeeHives choir, singing popular songs followed by an animated get-together.
VHAS president Patricia Marsland said that one of the aims of the society was to provide a pleasant and motivating atmosphere where members could enjoy the company of other artists and participate when and how they wish to, from exhibitions, to events at Warland Reserve.
"We work hard to provide 80 members with a terrific annual program of opportunities, from formal learning workshops to art focused tours and groups where skills are shared with each other," Ms Marsland said.
