Man flown to hospital after car rolls between Middleton and Goolwa

A man was flown to Flinders Medical Centre after the car he was driving left the road and rolled between Middleton and Goolwa on Sunday morning, May 17.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Port Elliot Road near Boettcher Road about 10.45am.

The driver and sole occupant of the Honda sedan, a 38-year-old man believed to be from Victoria, was flown to Flinders Medical Centre.

Initial reports claimed he was in a life-threatening condition, but once he was at hospital, his health improved.

He is being treated for leg injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police closed Port Elliot Road in both directions as the scene was cleared, but it is now open again.
