Keeping to restrictions eight members of the South Coast Choral Society sing songs to a resident at Agnes Gillespie Drive for her birthday.

On May 19, it was not exactly the 'Hills are Alive with Music', but Ainsley Roberts Drive was filled with the sound of Choristers. Janice, a resident in the street whose 74th birthday was on Tuesday, May 19, was surprised by eight members of the South Coast Choral Society singing eight popular songs, some from their previous shows. Janice's daughter lives in Melbourne and was unable to visit her mother to celebrate her birthday, so she approached the Society to sing to her mother at her home .

In sunshine and adhering to distance regulations because of the virus, the choristers enjoyed the afternoon singing to Janice who was totally surprised.

She was presented with a card and a few goodies and the afternoon was enjoyed by Janice and her sister-in-law

The impromptu 'Garden Recital' concluded with the group singing happy birthday.
