With the health and safety of its members in mind, the Victor Floral Art and Garden Club will not operate until at least August.
Secretary Gail van Ryswyk said the committee of Carrickalinga House - where the club meets - met on May 21 to discuss the immediate future of the facility in terms of opening it for community groups.
It was decided that restrictions would remain in place until at least August, and the floral art and garden club has followed the venue committee's lead.
"Our club is made up of the most vulnerable and it is for this reason this is the best for all concerned," she said.
She will keep members informed of when the club was able to return.
"May is nearly done and we are safe in our community because we have kept physical distancing, stayed home and kept ourselves and homes sanitised," she said.
She hoped everyone was well and using time to be out in the garden more.
"Bulbs are popping up their heads and our winter crops should be in," she said.
