On Wednesday there were 35 players in the Scroungers competition. All sections were close. In the first game a three-person playoff determined the winner (Ron Lind/visitor from Murray Bridge Karen Kneebone/Ron Gebert). In the second (finals) game Winner of Winners was Joan Hammet (23). Another playoff, between Joy Caldicott and Graham Trenerry, determined Winner of 2nds, with Joy first with 23 shots. Winner of 3rds was Brigitte Day (31).
Saturday brought out strong teams. Winners were Barry Newman/Barry Trowbridge/Terry Hogg. Runner-ups: Peter Cullen/Jim Gamble/Ron Gebert. Winner of losers: Cheryl Owen/Winston Syson/Tony Gunnell.

Oksana Elf played her first game for months and showed she had not lost any form. She combined with Doug Baker from Robe and Peter Manuel to win on Thursday.
On Saturday there were four two-game winners. Fred Kelly and Wayne Lynn just missed out on the big prizes. The battle for top position on the day was a tight affair with John Florance, John Read and Peter Manuel winning with a score of 57+18. This was good enough to push Seby Consalvo, Di Smith and Eileen Wreford into second with a score of 57+17.

Tuesday, July 21 was a Goolwa Foodland-sponsored "Pie floater" day with visitors joining Goolwa members for a game of triple eights, with the winning pair being, on count back, Peter Ratcliffe and M Price from Ted Ozols and Frank Gibbons. Winners of the second game were Kevin Weeks and Rob Kaplan.
Wednesday, July 22 was another pairs day, sponsored by Gary Fox, with another good turnout for two games of 13 ends. Results were close, with the winning pair being Ted Ozols and Frank Gibbons from Dan Krebbekx and Gary Fox, with second game winners being M Trapenznik and Lou Dimitri.
Saturday, July 25 was Open (drawn) three bowls, triples day. Many bowlers were drawn into the sunshine, some for the first time this winter. Over 60 bowlers, members and visitors, some from as far away as Mount Gambier, took part in two games of 13 ends. Winners were the team of David Evans, Ugene Bourne and Geoff Dutton from (on count back) Glen Best, Des From and Betty Dutton. Winners of the second game were Gary Fox, Gerry Roberts and Ted Ozols.
Anyone wanting to bowl on any day must get their name in early, as spaces are limited due to distancing rules for each green. Single entries or team entry applies for Tuesday and Wednesday and single entry only for Saturday.

Members celebrated Alan Pearce's 90th birthday with him.
