Coles Victor Harbor has successfully raised $7150 for local RSL groups as part of their annual 'Poppy Appeal' fundraiser.

The fundraiser was part of the store's Remembrance Day commemorations and offered shoppers the chance to donate or purchase products including poppies and baked goods, with proceeds benefiting local veterans.

This follows the stores' successful 2020 ANZAC Day Appeal, where over $6600 was raised for the Victor Harbor RSL.

Store Manager Rob Kidman said the Victor Harbor team was proud to celebrate those who have served the country during what is a particularly special day for the community.

"We are very grateful for the generosity of the local community, who like in the ANZAC Appeal has supported us tremendously to be able to give the donation that we have," he said.

"We are so grateful for the customers that we have and the way they support the local community is tremendous."
